Why read this blog?
Before asking why nobody visits their sites, more bloggers should answer this question.
This blog is my forum for the ideas and concepts that are changing the world today, as well as those that will guide our and our children’s future.
As we advance into the 21st Century, new concepts and ideas are in demand, and more and more people are seeking learning and enlightenment about the world we live in. The Internet has given us access to more information than we can ever comprehend; what tools can we use to find the most useful knowledge and construct the best future for humankind?
I want this blog to serve as a place where all kinds of learning happens. Learning about our new, computerized world, about ourselves, the human race–and the sharing of information for our collective progress. We are now more connected than ever; how can we learn from each other and progress together?
All over the world, different people have valuable knowledge in things most of us don’t have a clue about, and new concepts and models for our future are being created every day. What can a venture capitalist in Singapore and a Venezuelan schoolteacher learn from each other? Plenty! What can a Middle Eastern imam and a North American garbage collector teach each other? A great deal!
That’s why this blog is called You Learn Something New Every Day.
This blog thus has two main focuses:
- The ideas and concepts that are changing the world today, and how you and I can take full advantage of them, and
- The future of our technological revolution: where is humankind headed, and what is the meaning of our advancements in technology? Does it really make our world better off and happier?
My posts are generally short and focused. Most of them won’t take a while to read–but if you have time, there’s always more. I like to write often. If a post gets long, I will break it up into different posts for easier reading.
I’m always learning new things, just like you, and I share what I learn with you. If something is good, I’ll link you right to it, right away.
As I go along, I will definitely find new ideas, and this blog will evolve. So please visit and read often—I promise it will be an interesting evolution!
